TITO Ticketing System for Slot Machines
Ticket-in, ticket-out (TITO) replaces coin and cash handling at the machine with a printed voucher. GlassCMS issues, redeems and validates those vouchers, and keeps a record of every one.
At the machine
A guest cashes out and the machine prints a barcoded ticket for the balance. That ticket can be carried to another machine or to the cashdesk. The system knows the ticket's value and status from the moment it is printed.
At the cashdesk
The cashier scans the barcode, the system validates the ticket against its record, and the ticket is paid and marked as redeemed. A ticket cannot be paid twice, and a ticket the system never issued cannot be paid at all.

Why it matters
Less cash on the floor means fewer counts, fewer discrepancies and fewer places for money to go missing. The accounting module sees every ticket event, so the day's ticket liability is always a current number rather than an estimate.
